The travel dating website and app tourbar.com is encouraging all singletons with a love for travel but no upcoming trips of their own to forget spending the 14 February alone and sign up to tourbar.com in a bid to meet a companion.

Travel-lovers don't need to panic about booking a last minute trip to find a fellow travel enthusiast though; instead they can simply download the TourBar app for free and register their interest in becoming a Guide in their home city.

TourBar is a social networking platform that allows users to either upload their travel plans and interests to meet fellow solo travellers with similar interests in a new destination or offer their services as a Guide in their own city. Whether users are from cities such as London, Birmingham, or Edinburgh, they can host incoming visitors by offering their services as a Guide and showing off their home town to inbound travellers.

Since launching in spring 2014, TourBar now boasts over 811,000 global members with 23,000 members registered in the UK alone.
