TOWARD Europe appoints partners in marketing Travel industry body to work with leading consultant to create two industry reports
TOWARD Europe (www.towardeurope.org), the pioneering organisation created to maximise the profitability of the travel industry, has announced the appointment of the leading industry consultant, Partners In Marketing, to lead the creation of two wide-ranging white papers on improving distribution throughout the sector.
The appointment, which follows a contested pitch, will see the company's managing partner Ally Dombey working with TOWARD Europe's two working groups to create the reports. The white papers, due for launch in December 2003, will be free of charge to all TOWARD Europe members, and available for purchase to the wider industry.
Dombey has served as an industry consultant to the travel sector since 1994, and provides services spanning strategic development, e-commerce and channel management. She has worked with clients including Galileo, Worldspan and Sapient and currently serves on the HEDNA board of directors.
Alister Beveridge, TOWARD Europe's acting-chairman and group IT director of Cosmos, said: "Our white papers will state TOWARD Europe's view on how the industry can improve distribution, and so become more profitable.
