Hills Balfour, one of the UK�s leading travel public relations and representation agencies, has been appointed to handle PR for Tourism Noosa, Queensland in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This is the first time Tourism Noosa has hired European representation in a bid to raise the international profile of the region on Queensland�s Sunshine Coast in Australia. The move will highlight the many attractions of this stylish coastal resort that combines the appeal of pristine beaches, world-class dining, sophisticated shopping and a diverse range of nature-based and adventure activities.

Currently, Noosa welcomes 1.7 million visitors a year, 10% of which are international. Hills Balfour primarily hopes to increase visitor numbers and yield by developing initiatives to build awareness amongst consumers and trade and to specifically promote Noosa�s culture, nature, soft adventure and cuisine to special interest groups.
