Tourism New Brunswick are excited to announce the launch of a new culinary competition; The New Brunswick Recipe Challenge.
The competition is aimed at amateur cooks throughout Britain with the winner receiving a 7-night fly-drive holiday for two people to the beautiful province of New Brunswick, Canada.
Anyone wanting to enter the competition simply needs to create two dishes (including a main course) inspired by New Brunswick. Inspiration can be taken from the stunning scenery, the diverse culture or of course the varied culinary delights available across the province. Perhaps design a dish that looks like the unusual rock formations found at Hopewell Rocks or maybe use some of New Brunswick's native ingredients such as fiddlehead ferns and lobster to name but two.
Then potential entrants simply visit the New Brunswick Recipe Challenge Facebook page www.facebook.com/newbrunswickrecipechallenge and complete the simple entry form.
All entries must be received by the 30th April 2015 after which three finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges (including well-known New Brunswick chef Alex Haun). The three finalists, plus a fourth chosen by Facebook fans, will take part in a 'cook-off' in London on the 17thJuly.
The overall winner of the New Brunswick Recipe Challenge will win a 7 night fly-drive holiday to New Brunswick, Canada for two people. The prize includes flights from London, a tailor made itinerary, 7 nights accommodation and car hire for the duration of the trip. The other three finalists will each receive £250 John Lewis vouchers.
