LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, 9 July 2018. Becoming a travel influencer has never been so easy. Start by following Tourism Malaysia's checklist of the top Insta-Worthy sites to visit in Malaysia, fit for all Insta-Travellers.

1. Street Art, Georgetown, Penang

The colonial architecture, colourful buildings and vibrant ocean setting have long made Georgetown one of Malaysia's most photogenic gems. As well as ticking off the UNESCO heritage sites, insta-snappers can also complete a tour of nine street art installations, commissioned by the Penang Municipal Council. 

2. Sky Mirror, Sasaran Beach, Kuala Selangor

Named after its mirror-like reflection of the sky, the Sky Mirror is a newly-discovered natural wonder that only emerges for a few days each month. Visitors can make the most of it by taking fun photos, capitalising on their own mirror image, no photoshop needed! When to go: On the 1st and 15th of the lunar month, and four days before and after these dates, when the tide is low. 

3. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

Obligatory skyscraper shots aside, insta-snappers are reinventing the wheel with creative angles of the iconic Petronas Towers, which held the title of tallest twin towers in the world between 1998 and 2004. The towers are now a popular Malaysian landmark as the steel and glass spheres create a glittering spectacle on the Kuala Lumpur skyline.

4. Skybridge, Langkawi

Perfect kodak moments are made at the Langkawi Skybridge, a 410ft-long curved pedestrian bridge above Mount Mat Cinchang. Located 2,300ft above sea level, the Sky Bridge is easily accessible by the Langkawi Cable Car and offers 360-degree panoramic views of the island from a seemingly floating walkway.

5. Mountain Torq Via Ferrata, Mount Kinabalu, Sabah

The via ferrata on Mount Kinabalu is the first of its kind in Asia and the highest in the world. The highest point starts at 3,400 metres and ends at 3,800 metres. Activity levels range from a 2-3-hour beginner's route to a 4-5 hour intermediate route, all complete with breath-taking views and limitless photo opportunities.

6. Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak

Majestic Mulu is the stuff dreams are made of. With vast caves, lush rainforest and rock pinnacles, the landscape is straight out of a Game of Thrones episode. Visitors looking to set their memories in stone can take selfies balanced around the sharp rocks, showcasing this unique meteorological formation.
