Tourism industry leaders in the Yarra Valley & Dandenongs have come together to form a new business group - Business Events Yarra Valley & The Dandenongs - and they are about to boost the local conference and event landscape with the launch of two new event booking websites.

The group will launch businesseventsyarravalley.com.au and businesseventsdandenongs.com.au at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo in Melbourne on February 21, 2012.

Both websites will provide 'one-stop shop' conference and event booking facilities - including transport, accommodation and activities - from a range of operators in the region.

"The Yarra Valley & Dandenongs region is a one hour drive from the Melbourne Airport or the Melbourne CBD, making it an accessible event destination - with world-renowned wineries, great food and spectacular views," said Faye Hendricksen, Business Events Yarra Valley & The Dandenongs representative from Rochford Wines.

The websites will have listings for a wide range of Yarra Valley & Dandenongs businesses that have facilities or activities for the business events market - and they will be offering some great incentive packages for booking your event.

Activities offered on the websites include spa treatments at Balgownie Estate, Rochford Wines Segway Tours, flying foxes and dune buggies at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, balloon rides over the Valley with Global Ballooning, a steam train journey aboard Puffing Billy or great food historic charm and five star accommodation at Chateau Yering.
