Now in its eighth consecutive year, the RACQ Southern Queensland Tourism Industry Conference will be held on 13 and 14 November 2012 at the Empire Theatre Precinct in Toowoomba.

Toowoomba Golden West and South Burnett Tourism (TGWSBT) and Southern Downs and Granite Belt Regional Tourism (SDGBRT), in partnership with Tourism Queensland, are delighted to present this conference.

The RACQ Southern Queensland Tourism Industry Conference will offer two days of industry discussions, information sharing, networking opportunities and training relevant to the Queensland tourism industry.

Mary-Clare Power, CEO of TGWSBT and SDGBRT, is excited about the opportunities the conference will bring to tourism operators from across South East Queensland.

"Delegates will have the opportunity to come together and discuss the current opportunities and challenges faced in the tourism industry," Ms Power said.

"Where else can you get so much up to date information in the one place, at the one time, relevant to the Queensland tourism industry?"

This year's conference presents a compelling line up of dynamic guest speakers, an interactive discussion panel and relevant industry workshops.

Tiana Templeman has recently been confirmed as the Master of Ceremonies for the two days of the conference and will bring with her over 10 years of writing experience.

Tiana Templeman is an author with Random House, freelance writer, secretary of the Australian Society of Travel Writers, has delivered a number of media courses for Tourism Queensland, and is an experienced corporate trainer who tutors regularly at the Queensland Writers Centre.
