A monthly-round up of products and operators from around the country, this month's Hot List includes:

• The upcoming Indian Ocean Fest to be held on Christmas Island in June,
• Little Swanport based Tasman Sea Salt's new salt sommelier masterclasses
• The revival of quaint boutique hotel, Miss Midgley's in Brisbane.
• And the return of Gowings at QT Sydney under the lead of acclaimed chef, Sean Connolly.
