Leading Travel Wholesaler Partners with Largest Brazilian Airline to Provide Global Inventory of Hotels
 
 
Sao Paulo, BRAZIL – May 11, 2016 – Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, today announced a new hotel distribution partnership with Azul Viagens, the Tour Operator division of Azul Brazilian Airlines, Brazil's largest airline by cities served.  The partnership will enable Azul Viagens to bundle Azul flights – which includes more than 900 daily departures to more than 100 destinations – with Tourico's worldwide inventory of hotels.

Azul Viagens is one of the leading and faster growing tour operators in Brazil, offering a wide range of Brazilian destinations and an increasing portfolio of international products. Azul Brazilian Airlines, its parent company, operates a fleet of 130 aircraft that handles approximately one-third of the daily departures from Brazil.  In 2015, Azul collaborated with HNA Group Company Limited, which is headquartered in the People's Republic of China and owner of the world's fourth largest airline group in terms of fleet size.  The agreement brought together two of the largest airline operators in two of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world.

Tourico Holidays works on a high-volume, wholesale model to broker its massive inventory to clients like Azul Viagens.  Azul Viagens will now be able to sell Tourico's hotels throughout the world, as well as Tourico's “ExclusiveDeals” – or pre-purchased hotel room blocks – that guarantee clients discounted rates of up to 60% off of retail.
