Toronto's Most Extreme Attraction Offers Thrill of a Lifetime

Destination Canada

Tweet:  Add this to your bucket list! You'll be on top of the world #EdgeWalk

Adrenalin junkies from around the world are walking on the edge of one of the world's greatest man-made wonders, with Toronto's EdgeWalk open to the public once again.

Presented in 2011 with the Guinness World Record for the "Highest External Walk on a Building", EdgeWalk is the first attraction of its kind in North America, with its full circle hands-free walk along a 1.5 metre-wide ledge encircling the top of the CN Tower in the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario.

Thousands of thrill seekers flock to this bucket list attraction every year for a half-hour 'stroll' which offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama as they walk in groups of six, with a safety cable attached to a body harness for security.

Not for the faint-hearted, EdgeWalk guides encourage participants to push their personal limits, by leaning back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them.

Participants can record their moment of glory with a photo that will shock their friends, followed by a celebratory meal at 360 The Restaurant as the lights of the city transform the view as the sun sets.

This unique urban adventure opened to the public on 1st August 2011 as the CN Tower's most thrilling attraction in its 36-year history.
