Forelles, Fishmore Hall's fine dining restaurant has been named in the Top 10 restaurants in the Midlands by the Good Food Guide.
Located just outside the historic market town and culinary haven of Ludlow, Fishmore Hall is a contemporary 15-bed Regency-style hotel, with an established reputation for its food.
Each year the Good Food Guide reviews the best eateries across the UK each year, recognising talent and culinary excellence. The reviews are based on a combination of reader feedback and anonymous inspections and its rankings are highly regarded by both chefs and restaurant-goers alike.
With Head Chef, Joe Gould at the helm, the 3AA Rosettes Forelles is famed for its exquisite tasting menus, unique dining experiences and sumptuous seasonal dishes, featuring only the very best local ingredients from producers all over the Shropshire Marches.
Joe has a wealth of expertise, having previously worked with John Campbell at Coworth Park and Olly Rouse at Lainston House, where he was awarded 'Winner of Chaine des Rotisseurs UK Young Chef of the Year 2015'. He has also worked as London Development Chef at Rhubarb Food Design, developing dishes for venues such as Ascot, the London Eye and the Royal Albert Hall.

Forelles is open for lunch from 12.30pm Tuesday to Sunday. It also offers a regularly changing à la carte menu and a tasting menu from 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and a traditional roast from 6.30-9pm every Sunday.

Fishmore Hall is a Regency-style hotel, owned and run by Acorn Award winner Laura Penman. Laura purchased Fishmore Hall as a derelict property and in 22 weeks transformed it into a boutique 15 bedroom hotel.

SPAShell launched at Fishmore Hall in October 2016. The spa boasts four treatment rooms, which combine to create two couples rooms, two thermal cabins; a steam room and sauna, as well as an outdoor Cedar wellness pool and oversized hammock on the decking, both overlooking the fields and the Shropshire hills. There is ample relaxation space and the outdoor bucket and monsoon drench shower provides a refreshing and revitalising experience.
