Top Agents Lap Up Luxury In Jamaica

Jamaica Tourist Board

Six of the UK's top agents were rewarded with a week-long trip to Jamaica from 6 - 11 December 2013 for excellence in the selling of the destination.  The FAM trip, which showcased some of the best of Jamaica, was jointly hosted by the Jamaica Tourist Board and British Airways and sponsored by Island Outpost and Geejam Collection.

Upon arrival in Kingston, the group were given the Club Kingston airport services VIP treatment, which included fast tracked escort through Immigration and Customs and dedicated luggage retrieval.

The group was treated to luxury stays in some of Jamaica's iconic hotels including: Strawberry Hill, a boutique hotel in Jamaica's Blue Mountain range; GoldenEye where author Ian Fleming penned James Bond; and Trident Hotel, Port Antonio, which re-opened to much international acclaim in December 2012. They also experienced exquisite cuisine at Jamaica Inn and dined at The Geejam Collection, home of the world-famous Geejam Studios, where Amy Winehouse recorded some of her highly acclaimed 'Back To Black' album.

The trip provided the agents with a taste of Jamaica's high end and boutique offering. In addition to hotel stays and site inspections, the programme included visits to the historic Devon House the Bob Marley Museum, the former residence and recording studio of the legendary Reggae artiste, and the Blue Lagoon.
