Agents and Guests Enjoy All-Inclusive 9-Day Spitsbergen/Norway Adventure

Spitsbergen, part of the Arctic's Svalbard Islands, is home to nearly 3,000 polar bears and has Hurtigruten as its principal tourism operator. So guests have an array of possible excursions and experiences from which to choose. Some of the adventures slated for this group include a boat trip to the scenic Esmark Glacier; dog sledding on wheels, in which guests are fitted with special clothing and introduced to dog sledding; and a wilderness evening at Camp Barentsburg, home to mostly Russian and Ukrainian miners. In Norway, this esteemed group will have a behind-the-scenes tour of Hurtigruten's headquarters, cocktails and dinners galore, meeting with the Midnatsol captain, experiencing the Sea Eagle Safari and Fishing Village Walk, and enjoying numerous on board activities. The final full day is spent in the beautiful city of Trondheim, where guests are treated to a city tour, a visit to the millennium-old Nidaros Cathedral and a wonderful farewell dinner.
