Commenting on this year’s Tobago Jazz Experience, Tracey Celestine-Davidson, Secretary for Tourism and Transportation says: “We are committed to raising the profile of the Tobago Jazz Experience not simply throughout the Caribbean region, but also around the world. Music’s finest such as Earth, Wind and Fire and John Legend mixed with our own local talent will give us the winning formula for a successful event this year”.
In support, John Arnold, Event Coordinator, Tobago House of Assembly, comments: “Right now we have performance applications from artists in Hungary, the Ukraine, Jerusalem, Latin America and many more, so our event is certainly growing in stature on a worldwide basis.
We pride ourselves in the showcase of our own local talent and we’re delighted to be able to extend this to other areas of the world. There aren’t many festivals where, as an amateur performer, you’re able to showcase your talent alongside acts such as Earth, Wind and Fire and John Legend”.
