Tis The Season To Be Brampton!

P&O Australian Resorts

Youve survived quality time with the relatives, endured the long queues to watch the seasons cinema blockbusters and battled your way through bargain hunters to snap up a deal at the summer sales you deserve a break! Brampton Island - 7 nights accommodation, all meals, most activties and return airfare ex Sydney from $1430 or $1494 ex Melbourne. Brampton Island where clear tropical skies meet Whitsunday blue waters in a blue on blue palette and gorgeous strips of golden sand stretch to meet emerald grasslands and stately palms. Almost entirely National Park, Brampton is the belle of the Whitsundays and the Islands seven golden sandy beaches are nothing short of picture perfect.

The colours of Brampton shimmer and delight above and beneath the water. Guests can float with the current along a chain of coral gardens and enjoy snorkelling amongst a variety of fish and brilliant corals or simply relax in a hammock - slung artfully under a palm - and watch the play of light on the sea.

Brampton is a destination designed for fun and relaxation. An amazing array of activities greets guests on Brampton on and off the water and all non-motorised activities are free.

Golfers can test their swing on a 6-hole golf course and the Islands club rules, which take into account Bramptons resident kangaroos, do wonders for golfers handicap.

Other diversions are equally absorbing - guided National Park walks, beach volley ball, tennis, jetskiing safaris, tube rides, wake boarding or water skiing as well as paddle skis, sail boards and catamarans.

Guests can also take delight in doing nothing at all. Lazing around the ocean pool on comfortable sun lounges is a favourite activity as is surrendering to total relaxation at the Islands mini spa the Soothing Beat. Of course eating and drinking is another of the Islands great attractions and on Brampton all meals are included in the tariff.

The Islands Blue Water Restaurant is perched above the tops of palms and overlooking the sea. Here guests can enjoy a full buffet breakfast and sensational smorgasbord lunches. Other lunch options include lavish beachside BBQs, private beachside picnics can also be arranged.

Dinner, either a 3-course menu or themed buffet, can be enjoyed in the Restaurant or around the ocean pool by the light of a flaming torch. Seafood platters for two can be organised for in-room dining or under the stars at a secluded spot on the beach.

Dinner can be a prelude to a fun-filled evening of live music and entertainment with guests slipping off their sandals (or shoes) and dancing until dawn or perhaps enjoying a quiet stroll along the beach before turning in and drifting off to sound of the lapping tide.
