Tiffin Afternoon Tea returns in glorious style to The Langham, Hong Kong

Palm Court at The Langham, Hong Kong is set to launch Tiffin Afternoon Tea from September 6, 2010.

There is no finer indulgence than afternoon tea; that break in the day made all the more delightful by warm scones heaped with clotted cream and jam, delicate sandwiches, freshly made pots of steaming tea and even a chilled glass of Champagne for those who desire it.

The Langham, Hong Kong has a rich heritage surrounding afternoon tea; it was at the sister property, The Langham London that tea was served for the very first time over 140 years ago. Today, The Langham hotels worldwide continue this wonderful tradition and have gained a reputation for serving the very finest afternoon teas.

Palm Court will be serving Tiffin Afternoon Tea from 3.00pm until 5.30pm, seven days a week. Guests can choose from two delicious menus, aptly named after fairytale characters of Sleeping Beauty, a traditional tea with handmade shortbread and mini cupcakes and Beauty and the Beast, a chocolate-rich offering. Not forgetting that tea is a family time The Langham, Hong Kong is also offering a Tiffin Prince and Princess tea for children.
