Forget the socks and undies this year; an adventure experience in Penrith is the ideal gift for Dad this Father's Day!
Whether it's indoor skydiving, white-water rafting, jetpacking or wakeboarding, Penrith is fast becoming the Adventure Capital of NSW and the perfect place for Dad to push his limits, get out of his comfort zone and try something new.
Having already tried his hand at indoor skydiving, white-water rafting and landing a plane in the 737 Jet Simulator, Penrith City Mayor Cr Ross Fowler OAM says he's keen to put his pedal to the metal at Sydney's newest race track when it opens here next month.
“The Luddenham Racetrack is going to be fantastic venue and a very welcome addition to the suite of adventure attractions on offer here in Penrith,” Cr Fowler said.
“I look forward to going there with my family when it opens and giving my grandkids a run for their money around the Go Kart race circuit!”
If your Dad prefers to keep his feet firmly on the ground, there are still plenty of other gift ideas to get excited about. Take him on an adventure of discovery with a show at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, an exhibition at the Penrith Regional Gallery, a cruise along the Nepean River or a visit to the Museum of Fire.
