Three Cities Hotels Awarded Prestigious Wine List Awards

The Royal Hotel one of Durban�s oldest and most luxurious hotel�s has been awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence in the Diners Club Wine List Awards while The Riverside Hotel and Spa, located on the tranquil Umgeni River in Durban North was given the Gold Award.

Highly regarded in the restaurant and wine industry, the Diners Club Winelist of the Year award encourage food and wine serving establishments to consistently improve the standards of the wine lists they offer their patrons. With only three Awards of Excellence being issued in the Kwa-Zulu Natal region, Royal Hotel General Manager Andre de Mol, was understandably proud of their achievement. Both General Managers of the hotel�s managed by the prestigious Three Cities Management Group were present at the awards held at the Granny Mouse Hotel located in Nottingham Road.

General Manager of the Riverside Hotel, Steve Van Greunen, had the following to say,� This award is testament to the continuous effort to provide both our valued Hotel guests and visitors with the quality delivery worthy of a first-class venue for the discerning food and wine lover�.
