Celebrate glorious food with Three Cities Docklands Hotel as the charming, eclectic Hotel spoils Durbanites with a variety of tasty treats with their monthly Night Market and weekly spice route experience with Friday’s Curry Buffet.
Under the skilful hands of market convenor, Darryl Hofmann and his Wholefood team, the Night Market which takes place on the first Thursday of every month, will bring a glorious winter market this Thursday (August 8, 2013) from 5pm – 10pm. Entrance is free.
The Wholefood Team is delighted to be returning to the Point once more, to one of Durban’s iconic spaces –Three City’s Docklands Hotel in the heart of the Waterfront.
The Night Market continues the vision of Darryl Hofmann to offer a series of inspired community events in interesting places. The Night Market which moves venue periodically – helps Durbanites to explore their city. This Thursday they will be hosting an open air, alfresco design and decor market in the Three City’s Docklands Hotel’s charming courtyard.
The range of products on display is evolving to focus on Durban’s top creatives and funky, cutting-edge design, handcrafted and bespoke items. The vendor mix will include lighting ideas, decor items, restoration services, furniture, fine artists, personal accessories... even a tattoo artist!
The Docklands restaurant will also be open for dinner, and should browsers prefer a more formal supper and a fabulous fine dining experience in the award-winning restaurant WODKA, serving a fusion of intercontinental cuisines in a New York-style bistro setting. There will also be food and beverage stalls available including gourmet burgers, flat breads ... and the best falafel in town.

Not to be also missed is the weekly Friday Curry Buffet at the WODKA restaurant, offering guests the best of traditional Durban curries and favourites.
Created and prepared under the Three Cities Docklands Hotels cooking expertise of Chef Darryn Powers and Chef Lloyd Naidoo, the menu features the popular mutton and chicken curries; chicken and prawn curry; beans curry and a selection of sambals and accompanying salads and pickles.
At R135 per person, the buffet caters from 6.30pm-10.3pm. Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the Hotel on (031) 332 8190.
