Thredbo and Land Rover Australia's strong corporate partnership has continued to grow this winter, joining forces to unveil a new snow-covered Range Rover House in the heart of the resort. Please see the imagery & vision HERE.
Thredbo and Land Rover Australia have been corporate partners since 2020, collaborating closely to promote Defender, and now growing the partnership to showcase Range Rover.
While Range Rover House experiences have occurred at numerous destinations around the world including Park City in Utah, Courmayeur in the French Alps and Pebble Beach in California, Thredbo is proud to be the latest host and first alpine setting of Range Rover House in Australia.
“Our partnership with Land Rover Australia has consistently been an incredible fit for the resort. Our adventurous guests resonate with both the Range Rover and Defender vehicles that are well-designed for our mountain terrain. The success of Range Rover House: Alpine Edition is a testament to the strength of this relationship,” said Thredbo Brand and Marketing Manager Richie Carroll.
From August 10 – 20, Thredbo's luxurious Rockpool Lodge was completely transformed into an exclusive alpine sanctuary that echoed the design philosophy of Range Rover. Nestled in the peaceful Woodridge area of the resort, Range Rover House perfectly reflected the vehicles' modern and luxurious brand.
Throughout the activation, snow fell on Thredbo's village and dusted Range Rover House, creating an unrivalled winter atmosphere for those who were cosied up inside, as well as a unique opportunity for guests to experience the dynamic capability of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
Range Rover invited VIP guests and loyal clients to the house to enjoy a curated itinerary that featured Range Rover Sport Experience Drives, skiing and snowboarding tours hosted by Olympian and Thredbo Ambassador Tess Coady, wellness sessions such as sound healing and alpine cold-water immersion, as well as exclusive dining experiences and après ski events in the evening.
Looking ahead, Thredbo looks forward to continuing its strong partnership with Land Rover Australia this summer through the Defender brand. Defender vehicles play a significant role in the summer operations of the resort, providing transfers for guests back to the resort after their hikes. Thredbo will once again be offering Defender Off-Road Adventures to guests this summer, providing the opportunity to drive through unsealed roads and river crossings while discovering remote areas of Kosciuszko National Park in a private car.
