The date has been announced for the seventh annual National Hotel Marketing Conference. The event will take place on Friday 28th June at the Hilton St George’s Park, the Football Association’s brand new £100m centre of excellence near Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.
The Conference is expected to attract up to 200 hotel owners, General Managers and marketing and sales managers, and also marketing suppliers to the industry and hotel marketing and sales consultants. It is organised by The Tourism Business, in partnership with the Hotel Marketing Association and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The National Hotel Marketing Conference is the seventh such event since 2004, and the only full day marketing conference for the UK hotel industry. Speaker sessions this year will take place on digital marketing planning, the impact of social media on hotel performance, how to combat seasonality in hotels, the changing face of hotel PR, and cutting-edge hotel marketing techniques to increase your business in 2014 & beyond. Speakers include Peter Hancock, Chief Executive of Pride of Britain Hotels, Roddy Whiteford, Director of The Feversham Arms & Verbena Spa, Martin Philips, MD of Recommended Hotels, and Pamela Carvell, President of the Hotel Marketing Association.
