Sydney’s newest rooftop bar Sky Terrace is kicking things up a notch for Sydney Festival. The summer hotspot, situated on the rooftop of The Star, will be offering live music, pop up bars, food stations and of course spectacular views of Sydney’s harbor and skyline every day from 9 – 26 January.

A star-studded line-up of DJs and musicians will be providing the soundtrack to your evening while you kick back with a beer, wine or one of Sky Terrace’s signature cocktails.

Here’s who’s on Sky Terrace this week:

Monday 20 January and Tuesday 21 January | Open from 5pm til late

Emily Barker, 8 – 9pm

Australian singer-songwriter Emily Barker will be taking up residence on Sky Terrace on Monday and Tuesday night, providing an acoustic soundtrack to ease you in to the start of your week. Barker blends classical, rock, country and folk influences to stunning effect with captivating and expressive vocals. With a slew of awards under her belt including a West Australian Music Songwriting Award and a BAFTA, Barker is true Aussie talent not to be missed, and brings extra warmth to hot summer evenings Sky Terrace.

Wednesday 22 January | Open from 5pm til late

Meem, 6 – 9pm

With a mammoth music collection, Meem's musicial tastes are nothing short of diverse. His interest in all genres of music makes for dynamic and broad-reaching DJ sets. A love of Funk music (in all its forms) is the backbone of many DJ sets although aside from Funk you may also hear Disco, Boogie, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, African, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Hillbilly, Jump Blues, Swing, Re-edits, Mash-ups and all kinds of beats and breaks. His sets are praised for diversity, flow and fun. Meem has a genuine approach to playing music he loves.

Gramophone Man, 6 – 9pm

Gramophone Man resurrects those great sounds your grandparents used to love on 78.
Using genuine His Master's Voice wind up Gramophone Players, the GM plays all the songs from the 20′s 30′s and 40′s that you don't know you love, and some that you wish you'd never heard. Combine this with his over excited dancing and suave between song patter and you have a unique and often hilarious show.

Friday 24 January | Open from 5pm til late

DJ Jonathan Toubin, 6 – 10pm

Dynamic DJ/nightlife visionary Jonathan Toubin is currently changing the world one wild 45rpm at a time! His infectious and high energy maximum rock n roll/soul sets have taken him from underground New York venues to some of the most prestigious festivals around the world, sharing stages alongside the likes of The Black Keys, Erykah Badu, Jack White and Rick Ross.

Also featuring: Sydney's own Yo Grito! specialising in high energy raw rock’n’roll with soul.

Saturday 25 January | Open from 3pm til late

The Cash Sisters, 6 – 10pm

Two gals with two stacks of vinyl, giving you country and blues favourites.
