Third Mega-Event in Three Years in Greater Phoenix – NCAA Final Four this April 2017

Downtown Phoenix will be busy and bustling the first weekend in April as the 2017 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four® begins their tourney.  While games are held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, many of the fan activities will be in Phoenix. These popular activities include the NCAA March Madness Music Festival and Capital One's Final Four Fan Fest.

The NCAA Final Four is not just three basketball games. It is a weekend-long extravaganza of events for fans and families alike. From the ultimate NCAA sports experience at Final Four Fan Fest to three days of free concerts at the March Madness Music Festival, a sneak peek into the teams practicing at Reese's Final Four Friday, youth clinics, a basketball dribble down the streets of Phoenix and much more. There is non-stop action – all of which is low to no cost.

Phoenix's Margaret T. Hance Park is hosting the NCAA March Madness Music Festival. This free event will take place on March 31- April 2 and is features great music for the family. This special FREE concert series takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday over the Final Four Weekend and features both local and national acts that in the past have included artists such as Fergie, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, The Zac Brown Band, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon and Kenny Chesney, just to name a few.

Capital One's Final Four Fan Fest will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center from March 31 through April 3. This interractive sports “extravaganza” includes basketball courts for exhibitions and fan games, hands-on championship experiences in other NCAA sports (baseball, soccer, lacrosse and hockey, just to name a few), youth clinics and great interactive games brought to you by NCAA sponsors, and activities.

With additional outdoor hiking, museums, diverse culinary, award-winning mixologists, and plenty of nightlife, this sports weekend is a must visit trip.
