The third annual Relais & Ch'teaux international culinary tour took place, this year in London, with 46 world-famous chefs including Raymond Blanc and Andrew Fairlie cooking for an audience of 600.
Relais & Ch'teaux is fast becoming the gourmet-lover's guide to the finest restaurants and unique, intimate hotels in extraordinary settings all around the world. It showcased its finest talents in the "Dîner des Grands Chefs Relais & Ch'teaux 2013" at the iconic former fishmarket in London, Old Billingsgate on 22 April.
The dinner was a great success, with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gillian Anderson, Salvatore Ferragamo and Lord Dalmeny of Sotheby’s on the red carpet and more than 100,000 GB pounds raised for Action Against Hunger.
Forty-six Grands Chefs of Relais & Chateaux from all around the world made teams of three to create extraordinary menus matched with Pommery Champagne.
Among them were Raymond Blanc and Gary Jones of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in England; Andrew Fairlie of Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles in Scotland; and Patrick Henriroux of La Pyramide near Lyon in France.
