Mediums visiting the BEST WESTERN PLUS Dean Court Hotel in York - said to be one of the most haunted cities in the world - have met the 'mad maid' of the property. She has revealed that when alive, she worked as a cleaner in a guesthouse called Vollnas. The guesthouse is now part of the hotel and room 36 on the third floor sees most of the mad maid's activity as she slams doors, moves things and creates cool spots - even in the height of summer.
