GLASGOW 2014, THE DESTINATION MEDIA HUB and ONLINE MEDIA CENTRE

With less than 100 days to go to the 2014 Commonwealth Games don't miss this unique opportunity; register now to be kept up to date on news around the big event.

VisitScotland, alongside Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and VisitBritain, will be operating a Destination Media Hub (DMH) at the centrally located IET Glasgow: Teacher Building in the city's St Enoch Square for consumer, news and sports media throughout the period.

The DMH, which will operate from 8am – 8pm from Sunday 20 July to Monday 4 August, will offer a range of facilities, exclusively to registered users, including:

-          Destination information on Glasgow, Scotland and the rest of the UK

-          Working press area

-          Free Wi-Fi & wireless printing

-          Media conference and studio space

-          Media interview zones

-          Fast-track filming permissions

-          Bookable fixed camera positions

-          Daily programme of news conferences and events

In addition to the DMH, an online media centre will offer registered users access to the latest travel and tourism news from the three partners, rich multimedia content – including HD B-Roll and high-res imagery – plus a range of exciting media offers and other useful resources.
