Elite Island Resorts Group, a collection of beachfront properties in the Caribbean, has teamed up with Virgin Holidays and global DJ Maseo of the iconic hip hop group De La Soul, to create a silent disco concept for guests to enjoy through the sound of high quality wireless headphones allowing guests wearing the headphones to dance up and down the beaches of Palm Island Resort, Grenadines & Galley Bay Resort & Spa Antigua.

DJ Maseo will appear at Palm Island Resort Grenadines on June 5th &  at Galley Bay Resort & Spa Antigua in September to launch the Elite Island “Big SSSSH” programme, DJ-ing from a beach booth and recording his set for future guests. This set will form part of a monthly offering organised by the resort teams on Palm Island and at Galley Bay from January 2015 comprising:

• The DJ Maseo silent beach set – His pre-recorded 2 hour set on the beach complete with high performance wireless headphones, BBQ and bar
• The Silent beach cinema schedule – A schedule of popular films enjoyed from a big beach screen and through high performance wireless headphones with blankets and snacks
•  A silent hike session around the nature trails on both resorts – An Elite Island team member will lead guests in morning soft hikes, great for clearing the mind and taking in the insta-brag worthy views
• The Elite Island Sessions playlists curated by DJ Maseo to be enjoyed anytime – Exclusive to guests, Maseo's playlists will be available in a password protected folder for exclusive download designed for enjoyment of the island's sunrise, sunset, hiking/biking/jogging trails and hammock time.  A perfect “take the vibe home” offering
