The Winners Of The 2013 French Press Awards Are Only A Few Days Away From Being Announced!

Great Britain's finest journalism on French Tourism will be recognized at the exclusive dinner on 14 May
 

The second edition of the French Press Awards will be a celebration of this year’s ‘More to Enjoy’ advertising campaign with the aim to honour what makes France so special and to toast those journalists who have stood out in recognizing it. Receiving over 100 submissions, the competition was tough and certainly meritorious on all counts.
 

Following the campaign’s general themes, a jury panel of travel professionals pre-selected the nominees. Once the difficult decision was made, the articles were posted on the Atout France Facebook page where the public could vote on the 36 nominees. The competition closed on Wednesday 8 May.
 

The 9 lucky winners will be announced on the evening at a select London venue according to the following categories:
 

·         Waterside activities

·         Nature & Outdoors

·         Gastronomy

·         Golf

·         Festivals and Events

·         Art and culture

·         City Breaks

·         Seaside Lifestyle

·         Wine tourism
 

These themes best represent what makes France so special and what kind of exemplary editorial coverage the country has received for these awards.

Over 40 British journalists, along with French destinations, Tour Operators and carriers will join the Atout France team on the evening for a night of gastronomy, celebration and recognition.
