In an online survey conducted recently by Asia�s Best Hotels & Resorts, 64 000 nominations from 162 countries were submitted for 3732 hotels and resorts in Asia. Every nominated hotel/ resort is rated on eight criteria including ambience, value for money, staff attitude, family friendliness, services and dining options.

During the selection process, the travel editors and independent hotel inspectors sifted through comments and scores to select the most popular choices while a team of expert travel writers compiled the entries.
