1. Villa Cimbrone, Ravello
The glorious gardens are at their most beautiful in spring. They lead you through formal flower gardens, to olive groves, shady pergolas and peaceful statuaries to the most breathtaking panoramic view across the Amalfi Coast and the sea.
Amalfi Coast and Isle of Capri Walk, May 11-17 & September 28 – October 4 2014. Walk Level 4, 8-10 miles walking per day. Six nights price US$ 4,695 per person, based on two sharing.
2. Private cruise into the heart of Venice
Having the opportunity to appreciate the grandeur and beauty of La Serenissima, on the water and away from hordes of tourists is a real treat. We offer the most wonderful experience: a cruise in a private launch across the lagoon to arrive, like Venetian royalty in the very heart of the city.
Venice and the Veneto Walk, June 29 - July 5, 2014. Walk Level 3, 6-12 miles walking per day. Six nights price US$ 4,295 per person, based on two sharing.

3. Prayers at dusk, Sant'Antimo, Tuscany
Step into the tiny, ancient abbey of Sant'Antimo in the early evening and you'll be transported by the peace and the beautiful sound of Gregorian chanting, sung every day by monks here. This simple church has stood alone, unchanged for centuries, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
Classic Tuscany Walk, June 22-28 & September 28 – October 4 2014. Walk Level 3, 7-12 miles walking per day. Six nights price US$ 4,195 per person, based on two sharing.

4. The ultimate pasta pesto
You may think you’ve tried this dish every which way - until you’ve tried it in Italy. Freshly prepared in the Genovese style, enjoyed with good company in a jolly seaside trattoria, possibly with a glass of crisp white wine – what could be better?!
Cinque Terre Walk, May 25-31, 2014 & September 14-20 2014. Walk Level 4, 8-10 miles walking per day. Six nights price US$ 4,395 per person, based on two sharing.

5. Greco Roman life in Sicily
The Greco Roman antiquities in Sicily are quieter, less well-known but are said to be more plentiful and better preserved than those in Greece. They are among the best you’ll ever see and are beautifully situated. We visit the temple and theatre at Segesta, dating back from the 3rd century BC, the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento and Selinunte. A haunting, unmissable experience.
Western Sicily Walk, April 27-May 3 & October 5-11 2014. Walk Level 3, 5-10 miles walking per day. Six nights price US$ 4,195 per person, based on two sharing.
