Co-organized by The Venetian® Macao and FM Event, a VIP screening of the latest sci-fi action movie “Transformers: Age of Extinction” was held at The Venetian Theatre Sunday; the Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo is being hosted by The Venetian Macao simultaneously, doubling the excitement.

Invited guests attending the VIP screening and red carpet event included Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office; and Isabelle Augusto, Head of the Tourism Product and Events Department of the Macau Government Tourist Office. Celebrities including Eric Tsang; A-Wei, Owodog and Fabien from Lollipop@F; Joe Ma, Virginia Lok, Elvina Kong, Otto@EO2, Hung Jin Mui (Cheung Sou), Lesley Chiang, Tang Chi Wai, Maggie Lee, Kibby Lau, Louise Wong, Hon Yeung, Amy Tam and Yuri Chan were also in attendance at the VIP screening and red carpet event, with guests eagerly taking photos with Optimus Prime's Sword of Judgment in front of The Venetian Theatre. In addition, more than 100 children and parents from the Macau Down Syndrome Association were invited to enjoy the movie.

In addition to The Venetian Macao bringing to the city the VIP screening of the highly-anticipated "Transformers: Age of Extinction," the interactive Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo is at Cotai Expo Hall F of The Venetian Macao. The exhibition is supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office, and hosted by The Venetian Macao and FM Event. Over 1,000 Transformers figures and fans' collectibles, as well as gigantic Transformers are on display, with the expo ongoing until Oct. 5, 2014. The one-of-a-kind expo also features the world debut of two-meter-high Transformers holograms, making visitors feel as if they are on the planet Cybertron. The first three “Transformers” movies still maintain several box office records in the United States. From preparation to filming, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" has gained extensive attention from global fans. The fourth film in the “Transformers” series begins after the epic battle between Autobots and Decepticons, which saves the world but leaves Chicago in tatters. Peace finally regained, a group of ambitious scientists collect extra-terrestrial debris from the battle, trying to develop a new technology, which they are ultimately unable to control, bringing the Earth another major crisis. Mankind finds its existence threatened by an ancient alien, so the Autobots return to Earth, launching a thrilling battle between good and evil.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” is directed by Michael Bay, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Li Bingbing and Stanley Tucci.
