International higher education institutions to showcase information on further studies

                                                               

(Macao, Sept. 17, 2013) - The Venetian® Macao and the Tertiary Education Services Office of the Macao SAR Government are jointly organising the Macau Education Fair, being held Sept. 27-29 at The Venetian Macao's Cotai Expo.

 

With over 6,000 square metres of exhibition space, the Macau Education Fair provides parents, students, and those seeking further studies with the opportunity to gather professional information on education and training options. With a theme of "The Premier International Education Fair is Your Milestone to Success," this year's fair features eco-friendly planning and execution, implementing the Sands ECO360° Green Meetings programme.

 

Local and overseas educational institutions and consultancies will be available at the fair to promote their institutions, academic courses and certifications. A wide array of education programmes including diplomas, higher diplomas, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctoral degrees, and vocational and short-term training courses will be on offer.

 

Seminars will be conducted during the Macau Education Fair, and visitors will be able to seek advice from educational experts in order to collect reliable information on educational options. Aside from a number of seminars for further studies delivered by the participating colleges and institutes, the Tertiary Education Services Office will be arranging the "Career Exploration Seminar," which has been held for years, during the Macau Education Fair. More than 10 industry professionals will be invited to talk about career prospects and curricula for different fields.

 

Approximately 100 exhibitors representing universities, academies, colleges, vocational training centres, counselling service centres and other educational service agencies will be on hand to offer educational information. Among the represented international institutions will be delegates from Macao, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
