Integrated resort inducted into 'Hall of Fame' of five-time Certificate of Excellence winners on the world's leading travel site
(Macao) - he Venetian Macao®has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award for the fifth consecutive year, and has been inducted into the 'Hall of Fame' – an honour bestowed on those businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row. The award winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.
As one of Asia's leading integrated hotel resorts, The Venetian Macao has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence every year since the awards started in 2010. The prestigious Certificate of Excellence award continually recognizes establishments that consistently earn great TripAdvisor reviews from travellers.
“It is a great honour to be awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence five years in a row and inducted into the 'Hall of Fame',” said Mark McWhinnie, senior vice president of resort operations and development. “The award is a source of particular pride for us because TripAdvisor is a consumer-driven review website. This proves to us that we are fulfilling one of our key objectives: making sure our customers have the best possible experience when they stay with us.”
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honourees that takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as business's tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
"TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travellers on the site,” said Marc Charron President, TripAdvisor for Business. “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive increasing hospitality standards around the world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”
Along with the honour from TripAdvisor, The Venetian Macao has received numerous other accolades so far in 2015, including the Best Luxury Resort, awarded by Travel + Leisure India & South Asia magazine; Best Hotel in Macau, awarded by DestinAsian magazine; Best Entertainment Resort, awarded by Travel + Leisure magazine (China) magazine; and The Best China Tourism Integrated Resort, awarded by the International Tourism Investment Association at the 4th China Tourism Investment ITIA (YiDiYa) Association Awards, the Chinese Oscars of tourism investment.
The Venetian Macao has long been dedicated to exceeding the expectations of customers and diversifying Macao by offering the best hotel accommodation, entertainment, shopping and dining experience. The ultra-high standard of service and effort put into providing unbeatable holiday experiences continues to attract tourists from around the world to Macao, helping raise Macao's profile as a world centre of tourism and leisure.
