Moonlight Cinema continues at the designer resort QT Port Douglas showing Big Blockbuster films. Locals and visitors can start planning family fun nights, catch ups with the girls or a romantic date night with tickets on sale for the 2017 Port Douglas Season until October 8!
The Moonlight season continues with a raft of blockbuster films including Dunkirk, an advanced screening of Captain Underpants, The Emoji Movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Lego Movie Ninjago Movie and later in the season Blade Runner 2049 – the perfect night out and a great way to chill out under the Far North Queensland winter sky.
Offering a special package to escape the cooler climates, QT Port Douglas offers its guests a package including a night's accommodation for two, two moonlight tickets with beanbags and breakfast in Bazaar Interactive Marketplace from $209 per night.
This state-of-the-art outdoor cinema caters for up to 300 ticket holders and is one of a kind in Tropical North Queensland where film fanatics and holidaymakers can bask in the glow of the silver screen under an open sky.
Cinemagoers can relax and enjoy delicious street food from Moonlight's food truck, snacks from the Candy Bar and drinks, all within the luxurious grounds of QT Port Douglas. The Moonlight food truck and fully licensed bar will be serving up scrumptious LA-style snacks to compliment the sizzling cinema experience, audiences can tuck into a delicious menu of movie munchies including: crispy salt and pepper squid, cheeseburger or southern fried chicken sliders and tasty Spanish churros.

Port Douglas' Moonlight Cinema is located at the QT Port Douglas Resort, 87-109 Port Douglas Road, Port Douglas. Set amongst lush tropical gardens, the resort is a tranquil oasis that creates the perfect backdrop for every kind of movie maniac and film fanatic. Gates are open an hour to an hour and a half before the film starts so grab all your mates, snap up your grassy patch and lay back enjoying a Far North Queensland winter of fun, food and films under the stars!

Tickets are priced from $13 for children and seniors, $14.50 for students and $17.50 for adults. Tickets are available online at moonlight.com.au and at the gate box office.

A limited number of Bean Beds are available for hire at Moonlight Cinema for $9 each or complementary for QT Port Douglas resort guests.
QT Port Douglas is currently offering a Moonlight Magic Package*, from $209 per night, including 1 night's accommodation, tickets to Moonlight Cinema on one night, breakfast in Bazaar interactive marketplace and hotel car parking. Moonlight Cinema operates on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. During School Holidays Moonlight Cinema operates everyday excluding Mondays.
