Dont pack away the skis and snowboards just yet! The Ski Lake Tahoe resorts Alpine Meadows, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Squaw Valley USA all have deep snowpack, days full of sunshine and warm spring weather. While most resorts are getting ready to close for the season, things are just heating up on the slopes around Lake Tahoe. Whether taking advantage of the great spring snow or just basking in the sun on the lodge deck, springtime is the best time to hit the slopes in Tahoe.
A spring skiing escape wouldnt be complete without a full lineup of festive events, live music and celebrations to choose from. Following are some highlights from the Ski Lake Tahoe spring events calendar.

Lake Tahoe has one of the longest ski seasons in the United States, with some resorts remaining open until the end of May. Surrounding North Americas largest alpine lake, the six Ski Lake Tahoe resorts offer unparalleled scenic vistas of Lake Tahoe and panoramic mountain views. The resorts, all located less than an hour from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport and two hours from Sacramento International Airport, also offer excellent spring lodging and lift ticket deals.
