February 2017 – The iconic Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, Bath has unveiled the ultimate celebratory package to commemorate 250 years of the Royal Crescent, one of the world's finest examples of Georgian architecture.
Designed by the architect John Wood the Younger, the Grade 1* listed crescent captures much of Bath's heritage and has captivated visitors with its magnificent sweep and majestic columns since its creation.
At the heart of this historical landmark, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa will lead celebrations under the banner of RC250, a collection of specially created experiences and partnerships.
Encapsulated in the RC250 Suite Stay, the two-night package serves as the ultimate celebration befitting of this milestone year.
One of Europe's finest hotels, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is a 45 room and suite property in the centre of Bath. Recently awarded AA 5 Red stars, the hotel features include an award-winning restaurant, stunning spa and beautiful interiors, all quintessentially reimagined for the 21st Century traveller.
The RC250 Suite Stay offers the complete RC250 experience commemorating 250 years since the laying of the Royal Crescent's foundation stone on 19th May 1767. Toasting the anniversary in style, each course will be paired with Taittinger Champagnes carefully selected by the hotel's Head Sommelier.
Paying homage to Bath's history as a spa city, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has also created a bespoke RC250 body oil and massage in collaboration with boutique British spa brand Elemental Herbology.
