We all know it's the Easter Bunny that brings Easter eggs, but Rottnest Island does things a little differently. The quokkas have hidden the eggs, and here at Rottnest Express, we're challenging kids of the Quokka Club to hunt them out and take home an Easter Rottnest Express prize pack.
Rottnest Express, operated by Journey Beyond, is excited to announce the start of the Rottnest Express Easter Egg Hunt, which will run from 9 – 25 April 2022 and is open to all Quokka Club members. The Quokka Club offers free travel to Rottnest Island for West Australian children 12 years and under.
Along with Rottnest Express, six Rottnest Island businesses are involved in the Easter Egg Hunt, where children are tasked with spotting the seven eggs the quokkas have hidden on the Rottnest Express ferry and across the island. Using their Rottnest Express Egg Tracker List, participants record the locations of the eggs and submit their list on their ferry journey back to Perth to be rewarded with an exclusive Rottnest Express prize pack.
All participants need to do to join the hunt is book a ferry ticket to Rottnest Island between 9 and 25 April with an eligible Quokka Club membership. The Egg Tracker List and instructions can be collected prior to travel from any Rottnest Express reservation desks upon proof of a Quokka Club membership.
“We wanted to give our Quokka Club members a special Easter treat as they travel with us over to Rottnest Island these school holidays,” says Niko Peranovic, General Manager of Rottnest Express. “For locals, the Rottnest Express Easter Egg Hunt is just another reason to explore the fun and adventure of Rottnest Island with the family.”
In addition, Quokka Club members receive a complimentary drink and snack on their first journey, a Quokka Club Passport, stamp rewards with every journey and other on-island member discounts. Join the fun with Rottnest Express this Easter.
