PERTH, AUSTRALIA – May 2026 – The Ritz-Carlton, Perth has announced a new long-term audiovisual partnership with AVPartners, marking a significant investment in next-generation event technology and reinforcing the hotel's position as Western Australia's leading destination for conferences, corporate events and incentive travel in Western Australia.

The comprehensive upgrade spans the Elizabeth Quay Ballroom and all meeting rooms across the hotel, making The Ritz-Carlton, Perth the first hotel in Western Australia to offer LED screens in every meeting space. Designed to meet the evolving needs of conference organisers, corporate clients and incentive groups, the new integrated AV solution delivers enhanced visual impact, seamless service and greater operational efficiency.

At the heart of the transformation is the Elizabeth Quay Ballroom, now positioned as a next-generation AV venue. A 15 metre by 2.5 metre ultra-wide LED screen will serve as the Ballroom's visual centrepiece, with extension capability to 3.5 metres high for large-scale conferences and events. This is complemented by motorised production cameras, automated camera tracking, upgraded vision infrastructure and fibre cabling, ensuring future-ready reliability and broadcast-quality event capture.

Lighting and styling have been elevated to allow rapid room transformations, with LED pinspots, effect wash lighting, coffer and chandelier lighting, as well as motorised stage profile lighting and flexible draping options. A high-end distributed audio system, integrated with pre-function spaces, ensures consistent sound quality throughout the event journey, while custom-designed mobile operator desks and touchscreen room controllers streamline event delivery.

The enhanced lighting, audio and draping capabilities also allow the Elizabeth Quay Ballroom to be seamlessly transformed for weddings, gala dinners and milestone celebrations. From intimate ceremonies to grand receptions, the flexible AV and lighting design enables tailored styling, atmosphere shifts and personalised moments, reinforcing the Ballroom's versatility beyond conferences and corporate events.

Beyond the Ballroom, every meeting room at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth has been reimagined with large-format LED screens, replacing traditional projectors and screens to deliver presentation-ready visuals for meetings of every scale. Integrated touchscreen control panels with discreet support request functionality connect directly to both the AV and Banquets teams, enabling immediate assistance and a seamless guest experience. Upgraded audio infrastructure, coloured LED coffer lighting and fully integrated systems eliminate time-consuming setups and reduce reliance on legacy technology.
