Michele Caggianese, Manager of The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, has been voted Hotel Restaurant Manager of the Year at the 2012 Hotel Cateys (Cadogan Place, London SW1X 9PY; www.theribroom.co.uk; tel: +44 (0)20 7858 7250).

The restaurant reopened in October 2011 after an extensive refurbishment by Martin Brudnizki, marking a new era in fine dining for the Knightsbridge institution. The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant offers an array of modern British dishes redefined for the 21st century, created using the finest ingredients from the four corners of the UK. Diners can choose from a blend of classic British dishes such as the signature Aberdeen Angus rib of beef and modern, seasonal options all accompanied by a carefully selected wine list presented on fully interactive iPads.
In addition to Michele's success, the Conference & Banqueting Team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower celebrated their shortlisting in the prestigious awards held on Friday 16 November. The team was recognised for their tireless work in a busy year for the London venue, and their efforts in ensuring successful operation of events from six to 700 people, each providing an exceptional guest experience.
