Whether staying in vibrant Miami or the chic Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, guests can enhance their mixology skills and learn to make creative cocktails while enjoying a fun getaway.

 

Guests who book the Spirited Getaway package will be greeted inside their luxurious guestroom with a beautifully-crafted mixology kit filled with all the tools and ingredients to prepare a classic cocktail. A short “Mix & Drink” video presented on an iPad will demonstrate how to make the perfect Whiskey Bramble in Atlantaor Mojito in Miami. Then, a one-on-one mixology class will be offered at the hotel's bar. Guests will learn a variety of techniques including shaking, double-straining and flash blending while sipping delicious cocktails and savoring light bites from the bar menu.

 

To test their knowledge and get creative, on the following day guests will find a mixology kit overflowing with non-traditional spirits, mixers, bitters and herbs to create their own signature cocktail and inscribe it in the Mandarin Oriental “Mixology Diary.” The diary will be passed on to future guests for inspiration. The cocktail recipes will also be shared on the hotel's social media channels.
