Our History

Built in 1729, the Punch Bowl is a renowned bar and dining location located on Farm Street in Mayfair. The Georgian building has original design features reminiscent of the inn's rich history, which include the panelling, the staircase and fireplaces.

Our Initiative

The re-design initiative will aim to rearrange the space in order to respect the history of the building, whilst incorporating contemporary elements that will revitalise the atmosphere. The Punch Bowl, part of The Epicurean Collection, looks forward to welcoming members of the Mayfair local area, including the artisans, the unique businesses, the tailors, the gunmakers, the property companies and the financiers, who serve as pillars of the community.  The menu, the décor, the programming and the ambiance will bring elements of the British countryside to the city, achieving a combination of respect and reverence for tradition whilst looking to the future.

Our Project

Aspects of the redesign include reinstating key features that were removed during the last renovation to pay homage to the inn's longevity, whilst developing new and enigmatic design features to keep the atmosphere current. The interior will reflect the Punch Bowl's initiative with aspects of history woven with innovative design theory.

Our Identity

From bohemian playground, to wartime stronghold and thriving financial mecca, London's most coveted district is a hallowed scroll of glitzy parties, royal occasions and high society.  The Punch Bowl has stood at the heart of it all, providing its esteemed patrons, the tastemakers of the time, with a place to relax, dine and discuss their dreams and ambitions. With the re-launch of the Punch Bowl, the next chapter is forged in Mayfair's wonderfully rich heritage.  The menu, events and special packages will be developed with local businesses and attractions who would provide Mayfair residents and regulars with opportunities to engage. Ultimately, in partnering with the local area, the Punch Bowl intends to establish itself as a beacon of the best of Mayfair culture in contemporary times and for future generations.
