This year forget the usual Father's Day gifts of slippers and dressing gowns, Coronation Street The Tour is offering a unique alternative with a backstage pass to the former Corrie set.
This ideal gift for TV loving dads will enable them to explore behind the scenes of the television studio where Coronation Street was filmed for over fifty years with a guided tour of the backstage areas and through the studio followed by plenty of time to explore all of Weatherfield's iconic landmarks.
The tour is the ultimate, immersive Corrie experience offering an insight into how the show is made. Visitors are given access to the green room, dressing rooms, wardrobe and selected interior sets including The Kabin, the Platt and Duckworth homes and Carla's flat. There is also the opportunity to have a souvenir photo taken behind the bar of the Rovers Return, which can be purchased from the gift shop, as a memento of this Father's Day for years to come
A highlight of the experience is the grand reveal onto Coronation Street itself, visitors can take their time walking along the cobbles and stopping for pictures in front of iconic buildings such as The Kabin, Roy's Rolls and Street Cars. Visitors can also take a peek inside Websters' Auto Centre, pop into Prima Doner for a selfie at the counter and learn all of the secrets of filming on the cobbles with external Street Tours running throughout the day, every day.
Coronation Street The Tour tickets range in price from £17 for an adult to £60 for a family ticket and can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/coronationstreet.
The perfect gift this year - treat someone you love to tour tickets whilst you can!
