Today, The Peninsula London has announced two new Peninsula Academy programmes, each designed to give hotel guests access to historical, cultural and local lifestyle experiences in the British capital. Thoughtfully curated and privately guided, each journey is designed to engage even the most seasoned London visitor, opening doors to experiences beyond the usual reach.
Each experience unveils a distinct perspective of the city, leaving guests with a deeper understanding of its heritage and hidden stories, with a curated collection of programmes available for both adults and children. ART OF WRITING: CALLIGRAPHY WITH YARD-O-LED
A glimpse into the craft of calligraphy with Yard-O-Led, the British maker of fine writing instruments. Guests will put pen to paper, exploring the strokes, letterforms and monoline calligraphy of this enduring art form. Guests will be chauffeured from The Peninsula London in one of the hotel's bespoke fleet vehicles to Yard-O-Led, nestled within the historic Piccadilly Arcade. Here, participants are invited to step away from the pace of daily life and lose themselves in the meditative art of calligraphy, through the gentle rhythm of pen on paper. Enjoyed with a glass of English sparkling wine, this elegant escape is designed to inspire and reconnect guests with the pleasure of penmanship.
Following a short transfer back to The Peninsula London in the hotel's signature Peninsula Green fleet, the experience concludes with a Yard-O-Led–inspired cocktail and sweeping city views at Brooklands Bar. To complete the experience, each guest will be gifted a writing paper set to take home.

A DAY WITH TUTHILL IN OXFORDSHIRE
A rare opportunity to step inside one of Britain's most respected automotive ateliers with a private visit to the Tuthill workshop, globally renowned for its bespoke Porsche builds and rally-winning engineering. Reserved exclusively for guests of The Peninsula London, this highly limited full day experience offers a privately hosted tour of the workshop guided by a senior member of the Tuthill team. This includes access to active build bays, fabrication areas and current vehicles in development, offering an unfiltered view of how iconic cars are reimagined.
The day concludes with lunch at The Orangery at Aynhoe Park, a 400-year-old estate designed by British architect Sir John Soane, allowing guests to unwind and reflect on the morning surrounded by Oxfordshire's countryside. For those seeking a deeper, hands-on element, guests may enhance their visit with an optional high-performance simulator training session at one of Tuthill's racing partners, tailored to their level of experience. Typically, a discreet, invitation-only experience, this Peninsula Academy add-on has limited availability and is designed for true automotive enthusiasts.
A Day with Tuthill in Oxfordshire is available exclusively to guests of The Peninsula London on selected weekdays and is priced at £3,138 for three guests. For those wishing to extend the experience, an optional high-performance simulator session is available upon request.
