(Hong Kong, September 13, 2013) The Park Lane Hong Kong announces the appointment of its new General Manager, Mr. Luc Bollen, a Belgium national with over 30 years’ experience in various fields of hotel operations and international experience including Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Gulf region, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
Mr. Bollen has an outstanding track record in the hospitality industry, his career evolved from his earlier days as Executive Chef into management. He came to Asia in 2004 as Director of Operations at Hilton Shanghai and held several General Manager’s positions in China, Malaysia and Indonesia. During his tenure as Area General Manager China for the Pan Pacific Hotels Group he was awarded The “Best General Manager of China” 2011 in recognition of his rich working experience, talent development and commercial achievements in China’s hospitality industry.
Belgian born, Mr. Bollen is a graduate of the University of Nottingham holding a MSc, fluent in English, French, Dutch and German. He has a passion for good food, wine, travel and rugby.
