Merlin Entertainments

Orlando, Fla. – Visitors to Orlando can now enjoy even more entertaining and interactive attractions with the arrival of the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Orlando and SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. The newest additions to Orlando's world-famous International Drive region provide a new dimension of fun to the family tourism capital of the world. All three new options are part of Merlin Entertainments, the second largest attraction operator in the world, and are among the top tourism brands in the company's portfolio.

The new Orlando Eye is a 400-foot observation wheel offering stunning 360-degree views of Central Florida. From vistas of Florida's natural beauty to nearby theme parks and attractions, visitors can enjoy the sights from one of 30 fully enclosed, air-conditioned glass capsules during a 20-minute flight. From day to night, guests can explore the views with interactive iPad tablets, as well as a pre-flight 4D cinema experience providing an aerial journey of Central Florida, which includes multi-sensory special effects, including fireworks, lighting, wind and scented effects. Guests can even enhance their experience with the addition of a champagne flight.

Madame Tussauds Orlando is rolling out its signature red carpet treatment for the world's biggest celebrities. The interactive attraction features incredible lifelike wax figures of Hollywood's A-list movie and television stars, music icons, sports legends, world leaders and noted icons from pop culture and history, including several famous figures from Florida. Guests can shake hands with the president, take a selfie with their favorite pop princess and get up close and personal with a Hollywood heartthrob.

SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium provides a new wave of underwater adventures for explorers, both the young and young-at-heart, to navigate through Orlando's only 360-degree walkthrough tunnel and take in the views of amazing marine life from the oceans of the world. Families can enjoy interactive experiences provided through floor-to-ceiling displays, window and bubble aquariums, a 180-degree walkthrough tunnel, a cold water rock pool that provides gentle interaction with sea stars, sea urchins, anemones and other small animals, as well as a special area dedicated to marine life from the Florida Everglades.
