York

York's Chocolate Story's well-loved Easter Bunny Egg Hunt is back, as children can join in fun games from 6 -13 April as they work to find the missing chocolate eggs. Led by the Easter Bunny and friend, the hunt will start outside the attraction in King's Square daily at 11am and 2pm, before walking to the beautiful garden of the Merchant Adventurer's Hall just round the corner where the Bunnies will hide eggs, play games and children will find a personalised egg with their name on.

Where else can chocolate-lovers have access to making their own chocolates from experts, either with friends or family? Well, the attraction's bookable Easter Egg Masterclass is back by popular demand, from 3 – 13 April daily at 5.30pm, providing inspiration and hands-on practical creation of luxury eggs and other delightful Easter tasties, such as truffles. Led by expert Chocolatiers, by the end of the Masterclass, guests will have some incredible personalised Easter Eggs to take home and share or gift, this is a great alternative Easter activity for families and couples.

The attraction's award-winning guided tour prides itself on being the definitive insight into York and its chocolate history and it has been given a seasonal makeover to tempt the taste buds. Ever wondered why York is the chocolate home of Easter? Look no further.

Bernie Fleck, Guest Experience Manager, York's Chocolate Story, “Many people are not aware of the extent of York's chocolate-loving and consuming history and we really feel that the story we tell at York's Chocolate Story brings this Easter-associated treat to life in the most dynamic way, from the early Mayans and their precious cocoa bean, to the chocolate creators in this very city.

“Chocolate isn't just chocolate in our book, and we have a team of talented chocolatiers and storytellers sharing more than just good chocolate. We've invested time and energy into our Easter experience, working to create something that you can't find anywhere else, and this year will be another year not to be missed!”
