The brand new Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton is the largest museum in Western Canada and a welcome addition to Edmonton's Arts District downtown. DIALOG's integrated team of architects, interior designers, landscape architects and structural, mechanical and electrical engineers designed the building to reflect Alberta's diversity of landscapes and culture. New galleries in both the natural and human history wings tell Alberta's incredible archaeological and cultural stories, from changing landscapes to indigenous people to where we are today. The Royal Alberta Museum has the largest public collection of early artifacts from the Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company posts in western Canada, dating from 1790.

Other Museum highlights:
• New programming for kids including an interactive bug room and digital sandbox
• There are 2.4 million pieces in the museum's collection, over 5,300 on display currently
• The new museum will be twice the size as the old one spanning 40,000 sq metres
• Free admission to a dedicated space for the Manitou Stone
