Building on the success of its much-loved wintertime Ski Lodge, The Montague on the Gardens is launching an all-new Beach Bar designed to deliver sandy feet and beachside cocktails to the heart of downtown London. This “summer in the city” experience will begin June 8 and last through July 24, delighting guests daily from 3:00-10:00 p.m. 

Complete with real sand, palm trees, a beach hut thatched roof and the finest tropical treats, the Beach Bar invites Londoners to swap the hustle and bustle of the city for a relaxed respite and a piña colada. “Surf passes” are available for purchase for $40, which includes one hour of Beach Bar access, a welcome pineapple or coconut cocktail on arrival plus a second drink of choice from the drinks menu. The pass also includes a personal BBQ platter featuring a mini chicken burger with pineapple relish, a savory seafood skewer, a mini fish and chips and an ice cream to finish.

Guests left craving an even more authentic beachside experience can enter the Jet Ski Selfie competition for a chance to win a two-night trip to Guernsey. By taking a selfie on The Montague's on-site Jet Ski and posting it using the #SurfMontague hashtag, guests are automatically entered to win two nights at Guernsey's Duke of Richmond Hotel, plus airfare. 

The Beach Bar is also available for group bookings and summer BBQ parties for 40-150 guests with private hire packages from $92 per person. Reservations are essential for group bookings and typically must be booked well in advance.
