The Luxury Travel Bible is looking forward to the luxury year ahead. It is New Year resolution time again and our first resolution is... to only make good resolutions: lie on more beaches, experience more spas, stay in five star hotels, climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every rainbow... wait, haven't we heard that somewhere before? More importantly we want our readers to do the same. So here's to a luxury year where we inspire you to find your dream.

We're excited because 2013 is going to be a big year for luxury lovers with some of the best names in the business opening a classy clutch of new and exciting hotels and resorts.

January 2013 Highlights include:

- Travel Resolutions you will actually stick to Too often New Year Resolutions are all about things we think we MUST do but don't really want to: lose weight, go to the gym, eat better, work more, party less. TLTB team have come up with some inspirational resolutions to kick-start the year. There has now been a stampede out of the office to the airport ...and they only just got back.

- Relais & Chateux 2013 Woman of the Year, Louise Myer Louise Myer, Co-Owner of Whare Kea Lodge and Chalet, Wanaka, New Zealand, talks to The Luxury Travel Bible.

It was more than twenty five years ago that Wanaka cast its spell over Martyn and Louise Myer. Such was their love of the area that they then went on to build the luxury Whare Kea Lodge, and later their mountain Chalet high in the Southern Alps.

- Iconic and historic, The Greenbrier, West Virginia The Greenbrier has a thing about colour, decked out in 1920's designer Dorothy Draper's signature 'romance and rhododendrons' style. In 1925 the ground- breaking high society interior designer began challenging decorating trends with her use of colour and oversized pattern. You'll either love it or hate it (TLTB loved it).

-Happy Birthday West Virginia The only state to be born out the Civil War, and commemorating its 150th anniversary in 2013, the state is off the radar as far as visitors who want to do all things Disney are concerned. Which is a good reason to go there.

- Top Ten Hot New Hotels 2013 From London to Argentia to Kerala ... 2013 is going to be exciting year in luxury travel and here are the Top Ten New Hotel Openings. TLTB can't wait to check in. Our aim is to stay in every one. Twice.
