The Louise is proud to partner with one of Australia's most beloved culinary personalities, Maggie Beer AO, to launch Maggie Beer's Table for All, a joyful weekend of gathering, cooking and feasting set in South Australia's Barossa Valley this month.

Across two nights and three days, May 22-24, 2026, guests will share generous dining, farmers market mornings and hands‑on food experiences with The Louise Executive Chef Sam Cooper and Maggie Beer in the region she calls home, all while supporting improved food and nutrition for the elderly through the Maggie Beer Foundation.

Hosted at luxury vineyard retreat The Louise, Maggie Beer's Table for All places Maggie's heartfelt, flavour‑first philosophy at the centre of the experience, from a hosted welcome dinner at Appellation to a full day at the Maggie Beer Farm Shop and Eatery. Guests will visit the Barossa Farmers Market, enjoy cooking demonstrations and shared lunches, and spend unhurried time in conversation with Maggie, hearing stories from the early Pheasant Farm days to her current work as a leading advocate for better food in aged care.

'We're very proud to partner with Maggie Beer for the Table for All weekend, which brings together everything we love about the Barossa Valley: fabulous seasonal produce, generous hospitality and the simple joy of sitting around a table with like-minded fellow guests,' The Louise General Manager Hannah McCormick said. 'To be able to share this special weekend in the Barossa, and support our charity of choice, The Maggie Beer Foundation — helping fund vital work in improving food and dining in aged care through education and training— is incredibly meaningful for our team and our guests.'

Over the Maggie Beer's Table for All weekend, guests will enjoy an itinerary that showcases the best of Barossa food and wine. On arrival at The Louise, guests will be welcomed to an afternoon 'Swirl Sessions' tasting with famed Barossa winery Hentley Farm, setting the tone for the weekend. As the sun sets over the surrounding vines, Maggie hosts welcome drinks and canapés before a four‑course tasting menu at Appellation, paired with Barossa wines and rich conversation about flavour, comfort and the pleasure of sharing a wonderful meal together.

Saturday starts with a leisurely breakfast in Appellation, followed by the 'Barossa Basket' experience at the Barossa Farmers Market, where guests help the kitchen team select seasonal produce that will inspire the evening's menu. The group then travels to the Maggie Beer Farm Shop and The Eatery for a cooking demonstration that weaves together Maggie's favourite flavours, tips and techniques, followed by a long‑table lunch celebrating South Australian produce. A hosted wine tasting and dessert in the Farm Shop cellar door rounds out the afternoon before guests return to The Louise for pre‑dinner drinks and a relaxed 'feed me' style dinner at Contour, crafted by The Louise Executive Chef Sam Cooper around the morning's market‑purchased ingredients.

On Sunday, guests are invited to enjoy breakfast at leisure and a last wander through the vines, or to extend the experience with an optional cocktail masterclass at Barossa Gin Lab, created by Maggie's daughter Elli Beer. Departing at their own pace, guests leave inspired, well fed and having made a meaningful contribution to the work of the Maggie Beer Foundation.

A portion of every Maggie Beer's Table for All stay contributes to The Louise's donation to the Maggie Beer Foundation, which works to improve food experiences and nutrition for older people, particularly those living in aged care. Through chef‑led training, mentoring and education programs, the Foundation supports aged care kitchens around the country to serve food that is not only nourishing, but also delicious, dignified and full of flavour.

Maggie Beer's Table for All includes:
